A sail on a sunny day lets you experience what it must have been like for those sailors who discovered the islands hundreds of years ago. A sunset sail is proof that there is no better artist than mother nature when it comes to blending color and beauty. The Constellation is a great ship for a great sail.

We set sail from Great Cruz Bay at 4:45 p.m. Once on the open water BJ and Liz brought out a delicious cheese and fruit platter along with our favorite cocktails! Liz put cushiony seats out on the front deck of the Swan for us. We sat out there and watched the amazing sunset. Once back in the bay We were treated to a glass of champagne with chocolates and watched as the blood orange sky disappeared into pitch darkness. What an ending to a perfect evening!

We were... read more taken care of by Captain Greg and his first mate Mia regalled us with tales of pirates , scoundrels, and financial thiefs whose houses and boats we passed and sailed in front of. It was a beautiful day and then we snorkled off to the Caneel Bay resort and saw the remains of the formerly fabulous resort and fish and sea turtles. We had drinks on the way back and a nice 15 minute thunderstorm. First mate Mia helped us with our snorkel gear and getting in and out of the boat. She and Captain Greg were terrific.
