We wanted to do something special for my birthday this year and made arrangements with two couples we've known... read more from years ago camping in Cinnamon Bay to join us on BJ Harris’ gorgeous Constellation sailboat. Our cruise was postponed due to rough waters and high winds. We were grateful for Captain BJ's judgement and experience, keeping us safe and rebooking us. We boarded at the private boat dock just east of the Westin beach. The winds were just right, the breeze keeping us cool and refreshed and moving along well. Crew members Robert and Dave knew just how to keep things smooth. We enjoyed painkillers, beers, cheese, fruit and crackers as we sailed along through the sound. It was a real pleasure. The boat is a 50 year-old, completely overhauled and refurbished and has quite a history that you’ll want to ask about as you sail along.
She also offers full day and half day sails with snorkeling options. My belated birthday celebration was exceptional this year. Thank you, Capt. BJ

It's not just a job to her but a passion. Her love for her boat and the island is obvious as well as contagious. The Swan is stunningly beautiful and well kept.
We set sail from Great Cruz Bay at 4:45 p.m. Once on the open water BJ and Liz brought out a delicious cheese and fruit platter along with our favorite cocktails! Liz put cushiony seats out on the front deck of the Swan for us. We sat out there and watched the amazing sunset. Once back in the bay We were treated to a glass of champagne with chocolates and watched as the blood orange sky disappeared into pitch darkness. What an ending to a perfect evening!

We were... read more taken care of by Captain Greg and his first mate Mia regalled us with tales of pirates , scoundrels, and financial thiefs whose houses and boats we passed and sailed in front of. It was a beautiful day and then we snorkled off to the Caneel Bay resort and saw the remains of the formerly fabulous resort and fish and sea turtles. We had drinks on the way back and a nice 15 minute thunderstorm. First mate Mia helped us with our snorkel gear and getting in and out of the boat. She and Captain Greg were terrific.
